Welcome to the Microsoft Public Sector Demonstration Site. This site was developed by the Microsoft Public Sector group to provide solutions and demonstrations specific to the Public Sector areas of Government, Education and Healthcare. Users have access to live hosted Virtual Machine images, self-running streaming videos via Microsoft Silverlight, and downloadable images, videos and click-through demos.

The solutions cover scenarios around Portals (Internet and Intranet), Business Processes and Workflows, Forms Management, Content Management, Document Management, Business Analytics, Learning Management, and Project Management. We also provide infrastructure demo solutions using Microsoft System Center for operations management and Windows Server 2008.

To access our demo solutions all you need is Internet Explorer. First time users will need to configure their Internet Explorer to work with the site and can use our wizard to configure it automatically by clicking HERE to get started.
|
To get started you either logon using your Windows Live ID or if you don’t have one, you can either create one or create a new User ID on the site by clicking on Sign In.
|

How can I build a custom demo image on this 'Virtual Workspace' site?
Schedule one of the catalog solutions, then map to your local drive through “My Computer” on the demo image. You can cut and paste text or graphics to “brand” your own custom solution for any client or project! Click the “save” button to name your solution so you can re-schedule it for demos or labs in the future.
NEW: You can also transfer it to someone else for their use after you customize the solution!
If you want a Hyper-V image that is not listed on this site, or want a new solution for your country & language, please contact AcXess or Ken Mallit

Can I have my own branded site as well?
Yes, AcXess can also design your custom branded site with the same V-Works features found here for special training, consulting or full production online services.
What else can I use my V-Works site for?

2: This site (http://*.microsoftpsdemos.com & http://*.mspublicsectordemos.com) needs to be configured as a trusted site in Internet Explorer.
3: Change your Internet Explorer settings to enable scripting for Microsoft Terminal Services Client Control ActiveX.
- Internet Explorer - Internet Options - Security - Trusted Sites - Custom Level
- Set 'Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting' to 'Prompt' (recommended) or 'Enable'.
Download this ZIP file AcX_IE_Settings.zip and run the EXE file to set these required Internet Explorer settings for you. View the required steps in this document.
